1. What is a wishlist?
A wishlist is a list of items that you wish you could have! This facility allows you to add items from the Craftables shop to your wishlist. The wishlist is then e-mailed to friends and family so they can see the items you would like to have.
2. How do I add items to a wishlist?
When you browse the shop there is a button that says ‘Add to my wishlist’. Just click and the items are added.
3. How do I send my wishlist?
Every time you add an item to your list you will be taken to your wishlist page where you can choose to delete items or to buy them. On this page you will see labeled boxes asking for the name and e-mail addresses of people you would like to send your wishlist to. You will be asked to add a message to your e-mail.
4. What happens to my wishlist?
If you are browsing as a guest, when you close the shop window your wishlist will be lost. However if you have an account and are logged in, when you create your wishlist it will remain in your account for you to add and delete items and to send it friends and family.
5. How do people purchase items from my wishlist?
When you add an item to your wishlist it automatically creates a link to your wishlist in the Craftables shop. People you have sent your list to can come and look at the items you would like and they can choose to buy them using the ‘add to cart’ button.
6. What happens when somebody buys an item from my wishlist?
This depends, if you are logged into your account your wishlist will be saved and can be viewed by the people you have e-mailed it to. When a friend or family member views your wishlist and decides to purchase an item it will be removed from the original wishlist. When somebody else looks at your wishlist the item will have been removed, so you don’t end up with more then one of each item!!
If you are a guest then the person being sent the wishlist will receive a list of links to each individual product that they can then choose to buy for you. Items are not removed from the list if they are purchased s your wishlist has not been stored for you.
